Frequently Asked Questions - Camping
What our clients say...
Please note: You are only guaranteed a camping place at a show when you have PAID for camping and at least one run. You can always add more runs later, but First Place Processing's policy is that payment MUST be made for camping in order to secure a pitch.
You should not be able to save camping without payment, but even if you do manage to do that, please understand that this does not mean you have a guaranteed camping spot.
Camping will be allocated on a first-pay first-served basis.
Camping can only be booked when you click on Enter Show (rather than Save Show). You MUST pay for at least one run plus camping to secure a camping pitch
There is a box asking you who you would like to camp with that you can complete when entering. If all members of your group can put the same information in this box it will make it a lot easier for show organisers to allocate camping pitches together.
If no such box is present when entering it means that the show does not pre-allocate camping.
Please note that not all camping requests can be fulfilled due to limitations at different venues and requirements for judges and club members.
We will check to see if you specified who you wanted to camp with and if you did and it should have been obvious, we will contact the show organisers and see if anything can be done to help you. If you did not specify the group on your entry or it was not clear who you wanted to camp with, we will still contact the organisers, but this will reduce the chances of anything being able to be done about it.
The site will state when camping is full and will automatically place you on a waiting list if you wish
No! Camping is only guaranteed if you have paid for it and entered at least one run.
Where shows allocate camping your pitch number will be shown on your running plan. A site plan is usually available in the "Other Information" once the running plans are published.
